Koh Rai, The Remote One
Koh Rai is the furthest island from the mainland and the least visited. Very few tours make the extra journey out here, which means you're likely to have the place almost entirely to yourself. That alone makes it special.
What to See & Do
The reef around Koh Rai is largely undisturbed. The snorkeling here has a different quality, bigger formations, more fish and a sense of genuinely exploring something untouched. Hawksbill turtles have been spotted regularly on the northern side.
The beach is small but beautiful, and the backdrop of limestone cliffs makes for incredible photos. A stop here is only included on the speedboat and private tours.
