This website, hongislandkrabi.com, is operated by Koh Tour Co., Ltd., 93/1, Ao Nang, Amphoe Mueang Krabi, Krabi 81000, Thailand (TAT licence 42/00462). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR.
What we collect
- Booking requests: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, hotel or pickup location, tour date, and party size. We need these to confirm your booking, arrange pickup, and run the tour.
- Contact form: your name, email address, and the message you send us.
- Live chat: if you use the chat widget (Crisp), the messages you send and basic technical data the widget needs to keep the conversation going.
- Analytics: anonymised usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, device type, rough location). We do not use advertising or remarketing pixels.
How we use it
We use your data only to handle your booking or enquiry: sending confirmation and reminder emails, coordinating hotel pickup with our drivers and boat crew, and answering your questions. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.
Where it is stored and who sees it
- Bookings and enquiries are stored in our booking database (hosted on Supabase) and our operations tools, accessible only to our staff.
- Transactional emails are sent through Resend. Chat runs on Crisp. Analytics, when consented to, runs on Google Analytics.
- We share pickup details (name, hotel, time) with the driver and crew assigned to your tour, and nothing more.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes under Thai law, then deleted. Contact messages are deleted once the enquiry is resolved and no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to restrict or object to its processing. Email info@hongislandkrabi.comwith the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
